ChikShuk respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on ChikShuk infringes your copyright or other IP rights, you can request removal by sending a notice to us.
1) What this page covers
- Copyright (photos, videos, text, artwork, etc.).
- Trademark / brand misuse (logos, misleading brand claims, counterfeit listings).
- Other IP rights where applicable.

2) How to submit a DMCA notice (takedown request)
Email [email protected] with the subject line: “DMCA Notice”.
To help us process your request quickly, include all of the following:
- Your full name and a way to contact you (email and/or phone).
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed (or a link to the original work if available).
- The exact URL(s) on ChikShuk where the allegedly infringing content appears (links to the listing page(s)).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).
3) What we do after receiving a valid notice
- We review the report for completeness.
- We may remove or disable access to the content.
- We may notify the user who posted the content.
Please note: submitting false or misleading claims can have legal consequences.
4) Counter-notice (if content was removed by mistake)
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] with the subject line: “DMCA Counter-Notice”.
Include:
- Your full name and contact information.
- The URL(s) and details of the content that was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court where you reside (or where ChikShuk is located), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).
5) Repeat infringer policy
ChikShuk may restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly post infringing content. We may also remove listings that appear to be counterfeit or otherwise violate our policies.
6) Trademark / counterfeit concerns
If you’re a brand owner reporting counterfeit items or trademark misuse, email [email protected] with the subject line: “Trademark Report” and include:
- Brand name and proof you’re authorized to represent it.
- Links to the listing(s).
- Why you believe the listing violates your trademark rights.
